Mararthon: Yuge is a 30 level total conversion with a plot, plus 225 secret levels for many extra hours of gameplay.

Yuge is a community project that was created in 2017 with procedural level generation using rooms that were mapped by hand. Mappers contributed rooms of various design and size, which were then fed into the level generator, which created the overall level layouts, texturing, monster placements, items, and sounds. Therefore, you will see some of the same rooms multiple times while playing through the scenario, but each will likely have a different set of monsters in slightly different locations, different textures, and you will likely have different weapons.

The level generator was created by W'rkncacnter, and 353 unique mapped out areas were contributed by several mappers: Windbreaker, RyokoTK, Sankara, W'rkncacnter, President People, $lave, General Tacticus, Glamdring, and Adminn_1.

Yuge has 2 new weapons, 2 new boss monsters, new wall textures, new scenery objects, maps with precipitation, and a new liquid type. Along with the procedurally generated levels, the final level of the main scenario, "enter the DOUCHE", is a custom map created by Windbreaker.

If the 30 level scenario isn't enough to satisfy your desire to kill aliens, be sure to look for secrets that lead to secret levels. There are 5 secrets leading to a chain of about 45 secret levels each. Once you start on a path of secret levels, you always have the option of short-circuiting the full path and return to the main scenario. The level generator doesn't automatically apply flashing lights to regular walls, so that may be a big hint ;).

You may even find a URL to a number of bonus map packs within the secret levels if you want even more Yuge.

You can also download the Yuge Bigly Bonus Maps on Simplici7y, which feature 2304 additional Yuge levels: www.simplici7y.com/items/yuge-bigly-bonus-maps

Although your experience will be much better using the Mararthon: Yuge scenario, all of these maps are technically possible to play using Marathon Infinity. The texture alignment and assignments will be pretty ugly, but you can play with more traditional textures if that's something you care about.

--- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
To play Mararthon: Yuge, visit source.bungie.org and download the standalone Aleph One client. Place the Aleph One client in the Mararthon Yuge folder, and you should be ready to play. Unless you fucked something up.

--- FAQ:

Question: I like this idea and I'd like to see even more mapped out areas included. Is there any way for me to contribute to any future updates?

Answer: If I receive a bunch of new mapped out areas at some point in the future, I will likely be willing to release additional bonus packs with the new areas included. If I get enough new areas to make it worthwhile, I may even consider updating the main scenario with the new pieces. For more information about how to do this, and to guage my willingness to continue work on this project moving forward, check out the Pfhorums thread:

Question: What are those... you know what I'm talking about.

Answer: We've just been calling them rainbowdicks.

Question: This plot is a little odd and seems to be referencing a lot of things I'm not familiar with. What's up with that?

Answer: The Yuge plot is largely covfefe. i.e., "The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant".
